Research On The Key Factores Of The Development Of Electronic Sports Industry In China

As an emerging industry of the combination of "Internet and competitive sports”,electronic sports(e-sports)is rapidly developing in recent years.But many problems such as the immature business model are emerging as the e-sports industry expanding scale.Therefore,it has an important significance to study the structure of e-sports industrial chain and the key development factors of e-sport industry in China.And at present the related research is relatively few,this dissertation will be a new trial.At first,this dissertation puts forward the crucial influence factors for the development of e-sports industry in China and determines the multi-item of the questionnaire based on the predecessors’ research on the relevant theories of industry development and the analysis of e-sports industrial chain in China.Secondly,this paper collects samples through questionnaire and tests the influence factors by the method of empirical research.Then,the analytic hierarchy process is used to determine the weight of influence factors and rank them according to their importance degree.According to the research result,in the 10 categories of 50 factors which are proposed,it’s known to us that the top four influence factors about the development of e-sports industry in China are:the innovation of the designer of e-sports games,the organization and coordination ability of host in tournament planning,the government’s encouragement policy of e-sports industry on the political and legal environment and the technical skills of game programmers in e-sports.Finally,this paper proposes some suggestions about the development of e-sports through the combination of the various influence factors and the promotion theories of industrial chain.In theoretical sense,this paper puts forward the key influence development factors of China’s e-sports industry and carries on an empirical research based on the designed questionnaire.In practical sense,this research provides suggestions on the industrial development for our government planning and guiding the development of e-sports industry.And for related enterprises on how to integrate resources,improve the efficiency of the industrial chain.
