Research On The Farmers' Information Demand In Rural Areas Of Henan Under The Internet Background

Based on the internet environment,it is necessary to improve the quality of agricultural information supply to achieve the completion of agricultural supply-side reform.Combining advanced Internet technology achievements with agriculture,rural areas and farmers is the correct way to realize modern agriculture.The backwardness and obstruction of rural areas have been an obstacle to the progress of the government reform.If we want to combine the advanced Internet scientific and technological achievements with agriculture,rural areas and farmers,the information needs of farmers must be understood.Therefore,it is of great theoretical and practical value to investigate the information needs of farmers for solving similar problems in other rural areas of China.The constituent elements of farmers' information needs include demand subjects,demand motivation,demand categories,and demand channels,etc.Based on the per capita ranking of GDP of each region,this paper selects some villages and towns in Zhumadian of Henan Province as the investigation object.It has made a major investigation on the phenomenon of farmers' information demand types,information acquisition methods and difficulties that exist in rural of Henan by the face-to-face research patterns,such as conduct questionnaire and field interview.Throngh the microcosmic precise description of farmers' information needs and internet use in the form of chart,data and analysis,to achieve the measurement of relatively backward areas in the developed agricultural provinces.Through the investigation,it can be seen that the farmers in Zhumadian of Henan Province are affected by the traditional information acquisition habits,personal information quality and the fundamental construction of network in rural areas,so there is still great development space in the acquisition and use of information.By comparing the internal relations between farmers' cultural level,rural information construction and the Internet information utilization of farmers,three suggestions are put forward to improve the efficiency of internet information use for farmers,which are improving the quality of service,promoting the construction of infrastructure and improving the information quality of farmers.
