Study Of Business Model Innovation For The GD Corporation Based On Big Data

Big data not only increasingly affect our life style,but also drive a variety of companies to make business model innovations.In this paper,the structure and the shortcomings of traditional business model for GD corporation were analysed firstly.Then,the ideas and the motivations of GD corporation based on big data for business model innovation were mainly discussed.We also state the structure and the superiorities of new business model from GD corporation.Some inspirations were illustrated from the process of the GD corporation's business model innovations.In Chapter 1,we introduce the background of this research to explain the reasons that we choose this subject,including this paper's researching significance,researching thinking,and researching methods.In Chapter 2,we find from sorting through the literatures that business model is consisted by four essential factors.These four essential factors are “who are our customers”,“what we can supply”,“how we can obtain profits” and “why we can obtain profits”.To make business model innovation,we must change at least two factors.Moreover,Both internal and external causes can drive business model innovation.While big data can act on these two causes.As an example,the profile and the structure of traditional business model of GD corporation were introduced in chapter 3.The traditional business model of GD corporation has many shortcomings in four factors mentioned above.So we discuss how big data act on the business model innovation for GD corporation at the angle of business model and driven causes in chapter 4.In Chapter 5,we introduce the ideas and methods of GD corporation for business model innovation based on big data.Compared with traditional business model,the structure and the superiorities of new business model were listed.Meanwhile,achievements of the new business model were also given at the end of this chapter.Finally,we briefly give some inspirations from the business model innovation of GD corporation.Some suggestions were given as well.
