With the modernization process of the economic and social development of our country entering the key stage,the supply-side structural reform has become the inevitable choice to seek economic growth under the new situation of our country,and it is the key to lead the sustained and healthy development of our country's economy.However,in the current process of the supply-side structural reform,dissolving overcapacity,correcting factor allocation,improving productivity of total factors,realizing new round of dynamic balance of supply and demand are bound to have an impact on the employment.As the most important people's livelihood,employment is the most concern,the most direct and the most realistic interests of the people.In the decisive period of comprehensively building a well-off society,solving the problem of employment is always the main task of the society.It must be paid enough attention.At present,the academic circles have studied the supply-side structural reform and the employment problem extensively.However,there is not much discussion about the impact of the current supply-side structural reform on employment.On the basis of finding out the influence of the supply-side structural reform to the employment,this paper focuses on the analysis of the challenges brought by the current supply-side structural reform in China to employment.Using the primary experience of the developed countries dealing with the problem of employment in the process of supply-side reform,this paper puts forward some countermeasures and suggestions to resolve the employment contradiction in the current supply-side structural reform in China.This paper first introduces the research background and research meaning summarizes the related research status at home and abroad,and makes clear the research focus and research methods.Secondly,it defines the relevant concepts such as the supply-side structural reform,and combs the theory of Western supply economics,China's new supply theory of economics,the theory of industrial structure and employment and the theory of structural unemployment,regarding them as the theoretical basis for the study.Then,the background of the supply-side structural reformin China and the main contents of the current reform are discussed,and the influence mechanism of the supply-side structural reform to employment is discussed,focus on analyzing the current supply-side structural reforms to bring challenges to employment,such as the pressure on the total employment increase,the structural employment conflict is prominent,the employment difficulties of the group are more difficult to employ,and the labor relations are tight and so on.In the end,based on the national conditions of our country and drawing on the primary experiences of Japan,the United States,Germany and the UK in solving the problem of employment in the supply-side reform practice,the paper puts forward that our country should carry out the employment priority strategy,expand the employment supply,alleviate the pressure of the total employment,and strengthen the government employment responsibility,enhance the employment service ability,resolve structural employment contradictions,do a good job of transfer and resettlement of workers,increase the strength of unemployment assistance,rescue the difficult groups of employment,reduce social risk,increase the protection intensity of workers' rights and interests,and promote the harmonious and stable labor relations,to resolve the challenges brought by the current supply-side structural reform to employment problems.
