Study On Evaluation And Selection Of Suppliers For T Company Automotive Parts

With the fast development in areas of global economies and the mode of supply chain management,enterprises have to face a more complicated economic environment.In the automotive industry,outsourcing procurement with global resources is one of key strategies to reduce cost and enhance core competitiveness.For those reasons,it is important and even critical for T Company,a tier one automotive parts manufacturer,to evaluate suppliers with a scientific and effective method,and to establish favorable partnerships with suppliers.Based on analisys of T Company automotive parts procurement,this paper briefly introduces the procurement organizations and purchasing procedures.By sorting out supplier classification,evaluation system,it analyzes features of procurement activities and indicates some problems.With the model of language multi-attribute decision-making,this paper is to establish an improved supplier evaluation and selection system,including the attributes:product competiveness,quality control,purchasing risk,supplier competiveness,and supplier development potential.With the established system,T company selects the best supplier for the project.This paper is helpful for T company to improve the supplier evaluation and selection,and also the purchasing procedures.It also can be a reference or experience for some other similar companies.
