On the basis of the current situation analysis and the problem analysis of employee's performance assessment of Bohai equipment petroleum machinery,this paper formulated a set of employee's performance assessment project and designed the supporting measure for the employee's performance assessment project simultaneously with the help of MBO theory and the KPI theory.Firstly,this paper analyzed the current situation of employee's performance assessment of Bohai equipment petroleum machinery,and found that there existed eight deficiencies in the performance assessment work including the starting point,the standards,the indicator system,the method,the subject of evaluation,the period,the fairness of the results and the feedback.Then the reasons were gotten through problem analyzing.On the basis of the analysis results,this paper proposed the design thought for employee's performance assessment of Bohai equipment petroleum machinery with the combination of the method of management by objectives and the method of key performance indicators.Firstly,disintegrate the development strategy of Bohai equipment petroleum machinery.Afterwards,the performance targets of subordinate departments were obtained.In the end,disintegrate the performance targets of subordinate departments.The disintegrating results were used for staffs.Specially,the standards of performance assessment for middle-senior managers was formulated individually.What's more,this paper proposed indicator system of performance assessment for each subordinate department and their employees considering their performance targets and key emphasis in work.Then,the final scores of employees were obtained on the basis of the two kinds of scores with their weights respectively.In the end,this paper discussed the feedback and complaint of performance assessment fourthly.At last,this paper proposed the supporting measures for the employee's performance assessment project,which include four perspectives,i.e.the institution of performance assessment,the atmosphere of performance assessment,the process control of performance assessment and the compensation incentive system.
