Study On C58 Project Bumper VE Management For BQ Company

Value Engineering,abbreviated as VE,is a tool centering on product function and to improve product value.Automotive industry is more active in the application of VE.Based on the expression of VE :V=F/C,in the Life Cycle,car bumper is on the front and rear position and play a imporant role in the car function,so that,make research on car bumper VE study will increase economic benefits of the whole automotive.According to the VE theory,the bumper value can be devided into four parts: use value,cost value,exchange value and aesthetic value.This paper takes bumper value as the object of study,in view of the function,bumper can be classified as functional parts,decorative parts,reinforced parts and connecting parts.Another way,this paper has depth analysised the use value and cost value of the bumper.In the useness of Systematic analysis tools and QC tools,such as flow chart,brainstorm,fishbone digram and so on,this paper is specified the VE work on the bumper of C58 project which are in research by BQ Company.The purse of this paper is increase the value of bumper,decrease the contraction and get a proper work process.In the use if innovative thinking and effective reward,make the scheme more reasonable and more valuable.By the application of bumper VE management model,find out the VOC(voice of customer)and the key factors of bumper value.Turn the company goals of maximum profits to maximum value.The research results will be directly used for new product development process of enhance the competitiveness of company’s product,improve the satisfaction of customers.relieve the conflict between the function and the cost,increase the economic beneifits of BQ company.By the research of bumper VE,we can obtain the process of bumper VE management and establish a solid foundation for VE work on developing the new automobile bumper or other interior and exterior decoration products.
