Empirical Research On The Influence Of The Value-added Internal Audit On Corporate Value

Internal audit from the traditional concept to value idea,make the internal audit department will face more new challenges,requires the scope of its functions of supervision and evaluation expand to full participation in corporate governance,risk management,control process,and fully functioning verification,consulting and prompt the growth of enterprise value.It indicates that the focus of the internal audit has been from the past simple check wrong against fraud,change to provide advice for enterprise management activities,risk prevention,in order to increase enterprise value as the work center of gravity.Then put forward higher requirements to the Internal quality.According to the concept of value-added internal audit,the nature of the internal audit quality is to ensure that internal audit confirmation and consulting activities and value-added functions to realize.Therefore,based on the value added function of internal audit,this paper tests the influence of the internal audit quality on the value of the enterprises.In 2012-2014 year board in Shenzhen A-share listed companies as the research object,from four aspects of internal audit departments of independence,size,external evaluation and internal audit system respectively as the quality of internal audit,to Tobins' Q as the proxy variable of corporate value,on the corporate value of regression analysis.Research shows that the quality of internal audit is positively correlated with the corporate value and the corporate added value,and the research hypothesis is verified.At last,the paper put forward some suggestions to improve the value of internal audit to the corporate value.Specifically,including expanding the scope of internal audit function and so on.
