Study On The Development Of Hunan Grain Processing Industry

Hunan Province occupies a very important position in China's grain producing area,the floating features of Hunan's grain output is significantly similar to that of country's.Based on some related studies,it is showed that the floating synchronous coefficients of Hunan's grain output and the country's grain output are similar,which indicates that Hunan Province being advanced in grain processing,plays an important role in country's grain supply safety.And grain industry has been the supporting industry of Hunan Province--the advanced agriculture province.It is necessary for grain security assurance of our country and the development of Hunan's local featured products to develop further grain industry of Human Province and increase the market competitiveness of grain industry in Hunan Province.This thesis takes Hunan rice processing industry as an example to analyze the problems and development strategies during the development of Hunan grain processing industry.Through SWOT method,this thesis analyzes the current development situation and the developing trend in the future of Hunan grain processing industry.After the study on the general situation of Hunan grain processing industry,it is founded that the grain processing enterprises face the problems restricting the sustainable development of small scale,less market share and scattered distribution,which restricting the sustainable development of Hunan grain processing industry.Therefore,this thesis takes COFCO--the Chinese leading grain processing enterprise as an example,to clarify this group's product design of whole industrial chain,processing layout of whole industrial chain and the market development of whole industrial chain,which are important and valuable developing strategies.Finally,this thesis uses the experiences of Thailand and Japan's rice processing industries for reference,to analyze stimulative strategies from the perspective of government,enterprise and industry.The strategies are concluded by following content--to make a overall plan and reasonable arrangement;to foster cultivation and bring the superiority into full play of leading enterprises;to encourage creation in enterprises for improvement of grain processing technology;to set up brand awareness and build brand image;to foster comprehensive brand development and improve brand value;to foster industrial chain management and promote the integration of three industries;to foster sectors planning and promote fair market competition;to unify processing standards and assure product quality;to improve service system and sustainable development.
