A Study On The Promotion Of Science And Technology In The Development Of Julu Wolfberry Industry

With the development of the times and society,the agriculture of our country advocates the development of modernization,which needs development of agricultural science and technology and the promotion and application of the achievements.Wolfberry industry is the characteristic industry of Julu which honored “Hebei wolfberry town”.Recently,the annual production and sales of Chinese wolfberry is increasing in Julu,and Chinese wolfberry variety structure and brand construction has also made certain achievements with the popularization and application of new technology in Chinese wolfberry seedling and cultivation.In order to further promote the Chinese wolfberry industry's science and technology,we made a survey to the Julu County wolfberry growers and visited the related institutions to reveal the main problems of Julu County Agricultural Technology Extension and find its causes,and then put forward some policy recommendations.By visiting growers and considering the actual situation of Julu,we put forward to strengthen government support efforts to guide and organize the training of farmers to improve the quality of science and culture,change the backward extension concept and other measures to promote the further development of Chinese wolfberry industry in Julu,with the agricultural extension staff's idea,government policy support,and the education level of peasants as the direction.Through the study we find some problems which exist in the Chinese wolfberry industry in Julu.First,the supply is in conflict with the demand in grass-roots government agricultural extension services.Second,grassroots agricultural technology service lack ability.Third,the promotion facilities is not perfect.Fourth,social forces of agricultural science and technology services should be further enhanced.Fifth,farmers' enthusiasm of the application of medlar GAP green certification of new technology is not high.Sixth,the capacity of farmers in the application of new technology on planting Chinese wolfberry is not strong.According to the extension related theory,and combined with the actual situation in Julu County,this paper put forward some countermeasures and suggestions from the aspects that the renewal of ideas of promoting the agricultural science and technology,system reform,diversified promotion system construction,improve infrastructure,strengthen grassroots promotion and training of farmers,construction of the non-government incentive mechanism in agricultural services.
