| Science popularization is a kind of communicating activity which aims topopularize the science knowledge and technology, advocate science spirit, andimprove the science quality of citizens. The significance of science popularization liesin extracting the science and technology that people grasp and announcing it to thepublic by all kinds of methods. Thus, science thoughts, science methods and sciencespirit can enter into people’s hearts. Eventually, the aims of popularizing the sciencetechnology and enhance human civilization can be achieved. At present, with theincreasing development of science technology, science popularization draws more andmore attention from people. As a consequence, constructing a thorough sciencepopularization system has become a necessary trend.Then how to construct a thorough science popularization system which plays apart in spreading the science technology and improve the science literacy of the wholenation? In the meantime, the science&technology association, which takes sciencepopularization as an emphasis, organizes how to promote the construction of sciencepopularization by means of using its own advantages. Through the experience andsome things which reveal in practice in several years, the author finds some problemsin the development of science popularization, seeks to solve these problems actively,which has great significance to improve the science literacy of the whole nation anddevelop the overall science level.The thesis is mainly divided into six chapters. The first chapter, introduction,mainly introduces the research situation of the article. The rest four chapters are thefour main bodies of the thesis.The first part mainly analyzes the meaning of science popularization, therelationship between subjects and acceptors, the aim and task of science popularization. It also analyzes the meaning of science popularization and its existingvalue from the relationship between science popularization and the quality of thewhole people, science popularization and social development and the requirement ofscience popularization. The author believe: First, the construction of sciencepopularization system is a need of promoting the development of science andtechnology, establishing great-power of science and technology. Second, is a need ofenhancing the science quality of the whole people and social development level. Third,is a need of satisfying people’s increasing material, culture life. Last, is a need ofbuilding a service-oriented government.The second part mainly analyzes the present situation of science popularizationsystem in our country and the achievement from the following aspects: policy system,organization system, source of funds and infrastructure construction of sciencepopularization. Consequently, it provides some evidence for further analyzingproblems and reasons.The third part mainly discusses the problems in the present sciencepopularization system in our country and its causes. Only when the root of theproblem is cleared up can it be solved better.The forth part mainly seeks and explores the solutions to the problems posed inthe last chapter. Find out the measures and methods that are taken by science&technology association so that science popularization and the science quality of thewhole people can be enhance. Rough thoughts are: First, innovate the research onscience popularization theory and be a good propagandist of policy, rules and systemfor science popularization. Second, intensify the input of science popularization andreduce the input gap in different areas. Third, attract the outside resource of sciencepopularization. Fourth, enhance the attention of government. Fifth, encourage thesocial force to support. Sixth, regularize the propaganda to the science popularizationin order to avoid the risk from the public due to improper propaganda. Seventh,strengthen the ability of constructing science popularization of science&technologyassociation itself. |
