Samtec electronics co.,LTD is a Connector company which was established by Samtec electronics group in China in 2004.These products of Samtec are mainly used in industry,data communication,computer/semiconductor,instrumentation,aerospace/defense,automotive/transportation,medical,consumer electronics and other fields.This paper takes SAMTEC company as the research object.It analysis the competitive strategy from external environment,internal resources and capability analysis,and then strategic analysis theories,tools and methods are used to develop competitive strategies.At last,we use the quantitative strategic planning matrix(QSPM)to choose suitable competitive strategy for company from three kinds of competitive strategies.And then,we implement competitive strategy from product differentiation and service differentiation,brand differentiation and cell production.And the differentiation strategy is safeguarded from the mechanism innovation,human resources,finance and so on.Finally,the differentiation competitive strategy is evaluated and controlled.By my own research,differentiation competitive strategy is the most suitable competitive strategy for Samtec electronics company,in the process of implementing differentiation competitive strategy,we need pay special attention on the cost rise of research and development,services,marketing and so on,strategy implementation and overweight timely evaluation and control is particularly important,according to the deviation in the process of execution,to take timely corrective action,eventually make the enterprise get huge benefits by differentiation competitive strategy.The timely evaluation and control of strategy implementation process is particularly important,For the deviation in the process of execution,we need to take timely corrective action,eventually make the enterprise get huge benefits by differentiation competitive strategy.By studying the competitive strategy of Samtec electronics company,it can provide a reference model for the strategic management of the electronic components industry.Especially,It is of great significance to the strategy formulation of small and medium-sized enterprises they produce small quantity products but greater in variety.
