With the development and the integration of the global economy,the competition between enterprises has gradually become to the competition between their supply chains.Effective supply chain management can bring the outstanding competitive advantage to enterprises.Suppliers,as the head position of supply chain and of the production activities,are playing an important role in the management of the whole supply chain.It is the key to improve the efficiency of the whole supply chain.The supplier management is becoming an important aspect of the strategic deployment of the enterprise,since it can effectively reflect the enterprise abilities in market innovation and value delivery,and is a series of valueadded processes related to the market.Supplier evaluation is crucial step in supplier management,by which it has following benefits: Finding out the update status of suppliers;Implementing different management tactics in accordance with their different performance and classification management level;Effectively reducing the total purchasing cost of and avoiding supply risk if any.This paper is based on the current issue of supplier evaluation of BDT Company.By studying relevant theories and a large number of literatures in-depth,the optimization scheme for the supplier evaluation system of BDT Company is proposed.When studying the literatures,it was found that the supplier evaluation researches by many scholars are based on a single supplier evaluation system.In addition,few of those studies are involved in supplier performance trends.In the article,the author hold the point that,it is meaningful to study new supplier selection evaluation and supplier performance evaluation separately,since they have different evaluation index and purpose.Based on this,this article has carried on two analysis of new supplier selection evaluation and supplier performance evaluation respectively.Firstly,when perform new suppler selection,the DEA-SBM super efficiency model is used to sort out the best one.In this way,decision-making based on data analysis can reduces subjective factor in choosing suppliers.Secondly,in the implementation of supplier performance evaluation,a method of combining static and dynamic assessment is adopted.The general idea is as follows: Firstly,when evaluating the monthly supplier performance,the Super-SBM efficiency model of DEA are used to compare and rank the suppliers' comprehensive efficiency.Meanwhile,put forward the improving direction and target to DEA inefficiency suppliers.Secondly,the dynamic assessment of the DEA window model and the Malmquist index model are adopted to analyze the changes in the supplier performance and the reasons for their changes.Finally,based on the analysis results of supplier evaluation,the corresponding supplier management and incentive measures are proposed.Data envelopment analysis(DEA)is used to evaluate the performance of suppliers,which has the advantages of simple principle and practical operation.It effectively avoid the problem of subjective decision in supplier evaluation in BDT Company.Moreover,this method helps suppliers to learn from benchmarking enterprises,promotes competition among suppliers,so as to enhance the overall performance level of suppliers and improve the efficiency in term of supply chain.
