With the transformation of economic society, various social issues have become increasingly prominent.Social responsibility has attracted the attention of various stakeholders in the company.Corporate social responsibility is the link connecting the company and the public. Its influence factors have also become the focus of attention in the academic field.Senior executives are the actual decision-makers of the company and the policy-makers.They play a key role in the fulfillment of corporate social responsibility. The Upper Echelons Theory suggest that the strategic choices of the senior management team will be influenced by the personal preferences of senior executives, and the demographic data of the senior management team can reflect the psychological characteristics of the senior management team within a certain range. Therefore, this paper believes that the characteristics of the senior management team will affect the fulfillment of corporate social responsibility. On this basis, this paper adds executive incentives as a regulatory variable, and uses A-share listed company data published from 2012 to 2016 as research samples, and combines Upper Echelons Theory and Principal-agent Theory, and discusses the relationship between the senior management team's expected term, age, education level characteristics and corporate social responsibility under the regulation of different forms of executive incentives. The regression results are as follows:(1)The senior management team's expected term, average age, degree of education have a significant role in promoting corporate social responsibility performance;(2)The executive compensation incentives, equity incentives, and promotion incentives have a significant regulatory effect on the length of the senior management team's expected term, average age, degree of education, and corporate social responsibility. In addition, salary incentives, equity incentives, and promotion incentives are three incentive methods for measuring executive incentives. All of them can enhance the correlation between the characteristics of senior management teams and social responsibility, and increase the enthusiasm for corporate social responsibility. The empirical results of this paper show that the demographic characteristics of the senior management team as an indicator to measure the cognitive foundations and values of the senior management team,to a certain extent, determine the different strategic choices of the company, affecting the degree of fulfillment of corporate social responsibility. But at the same time, this relationship will also be influenced by executive incentives. And salary incentives, equity incentives, and promotion incentives all have a significant role in promoting this role.
