Case Study For Process Delay Of Train Power Supply Device R&D Project In X Company

This thesis chooses train power supply device research and development project as research object,analyzing the delay phenomenon of several major milestone during implement of this project by using the knowledge of project management.And the causes of delay are found out according to three aspects: project organization,project planning and control,project communication management.Then given the actual organization and the management process of the enterprise,practical solutions are provided.The thesis mainly describes the background of the research,the significance of the research,and the overall research ideas firstly,then introduces the related social background and industry background and delay situation of power supply device research and development project in the form of case to expose existing problems in the implementation of project.Knowledge about the project organization,project progress plan and control,project communication management are introduced in order to provide theoretical support for case analysis.The next part is to identify the root causes of delay based on the three factors we mentioned previously.Then combined with the actual situation of X company,suitable solutions against each one of the root causes are given.The measures which X company is supposed to take to improve project management in the organization in future are described.The measures includes setting up project management information system,strengthening project management skills for employees by training and so on.This thesis is of great practical significance to find out the cause and give measures,offering ideas and reference for similar projects in future and guide for improving the implementing of power supply device project.
