Velo City,founded in Shanghai in 2006,once swept the consumer business market by virtue of its groundbreaking paper coupons model.In Shanghai alone,it gained more than 3 million paying consumer members,thousands of cooperative merchants,and a market scale of hundreds of millions of annual income.For the time being,it has been favored by the capital,and has been raised to 120 million US dollars in several rounds of financing.However,in the face of the arrival of the mobile Internet,the focus on the offline of Velo City collapsed,it is very sad.Today,“new retail” is rapidly changing the consumer business market,Ali's “freshhema”,Amazon's “Amazon Go” and other domestic and foreign “new retail” forces have flocked to the market.At the same time,the traditional retail giant represented by Wal-Mart,on the one hand,has seen a sharp decline in profits,on the other hand,the new retail space is in full swing,it can be said that the future of “new retail”has come.Therefore,I began to think--how do I get a new lease of life with the“new retail” if the resources of the Velo City are preserved? The research on this issue is very valuable for us to understand “new retail”,to embrace “new retail” and to take advantage of “new retail”.In this paper,it is based on the Velo city as the research object,and using of “Wei-Zhu six elements”,STP analysis,comparative analysis and other management methods from the “new retail”,business model,operating mechanism,profit model,cash flow,enterprise value and other different angles to carry out a comprehensive analysis.First of all,this paper carries out a comprehensive research and analysis on the relevant business models of Velo City,and finds out the reasons for its closing down and its advantages and capabilities.Secondly,the concept and principle of “new retail” are studied,and its international and domestic development is expounded,in order to give a more accurate and comprehensive understanding of it.Even further,it can be found out the basic law of “new retail” and the future development trend.Finally,combining the high quality resources of Velo City with “New Retail” and using the “Wei-Zhu six elements” as the method to create a new business model.Although the emergence of this model is based on assumptions,on the one hand,due to the full analysis of “new retail”,we can fully understand its concept,core and law;.On the other hand,thanks to the “Wei-Zhu six elements” business model to build system of systematic and professional,so the combination of the dimensional complex city new business models and related relevant content to the “new retail” era of the Internet giant,traditional enterprises,start-ups and other various types of enterprises have certain reference value,and It will certainly promote the further development of the consumer commerce market.
