Hepatitis B,as one of the major chronic infectious diseases,is mainly caused by hepatitis B virus.Hepatitis B poses great threat to human health and even to the safety of life.By 2015,about 2 billion people worldwide had infected with hepatitis B virus, with an average annual death toll of 887000.Hepatitis B virus infection is particularly serious in China, about 130 million people are hepatitis B virus carriers.Number of hepatitis B virus patients remains high all the time, about 300000 Chinese people died of hepatitis B or complicating diseases caused by hepatitis B every year. The incidence of hepatitis B infection among children has been effectively controlled since 2005,but the incidence of hepatitis B infection in adults continues to rise. The study shows that sexual transmission is one of the important ways of hepatitis B virus transmission. There is a lot of studies on the sexual transmission of hepatitis B,but most of them only consider the heterosexual transmission in sexual transmis-sion.Hepatitis B can also spread between the same sex.Based on this fact,in this thesis we propose a mathematical model of sexual transmission of hepatitis B among adults, classify adults into men and women, overall consider the transmission of Hep-atitis B between the same sex and people who have opposite sex,and systematically study the sexual transmission dynamics of hepatitis B in China.First of all,we cal-culate the basic reproduction number R0 and the disease-free equilibrium point E0.Secondly,through analyzing the sensitivity of the basic reproduction number R0,we find the infection rate among people who have same sex.The frequency of homosex-ual contact and the immunity of adults are the key factors of hepatitis B.Moreover,we fitted the Chinese hepatitis B disease data. Finally, based on our research,we put forward the following measures to prevent and control hepatitis B,which are increasing the popularization of the basic knowledge of hepatitis B virus among resi-dents,advocating healthy and reasonable sexual life style, especially avoiding sexual transmission between women, and improving the immunization rate of adults.
