The study was conducted at Changchun City Animal and Plant Park from June 2016 to August 2017.Select a pair of Hooded Cranes that have been breeding for many years and have good health in the zoo breeding grounds.First,pre-observation before the experiment to determine the behavior spectrum of caged Hooded Cranes:feeding, walking, feeding, walking, stereotypy, preening, standing, resting and other behaviours. Then the design of the enrichment experiment was carried out. This experiment was divided into two parts:environmental enrichment and food enrichment. The target animal sampling method and behavioral sampling method were used to observe and record the caged white-headed cranes. To investigate and compare the behavior and changes in the behavior of the captive Hooded Cranes before and after the abundance of abundance. Our study results describes as follows:1 After the abundance of the environment, the proportion of behavioral time for captive Hooded Cranes has changed.Feeding changed from 15.23%to 18.54%;walking behavior changed from 24.51%to 26.48%;stereotyped behavior changed from 12.11%to 9.61%;Preening behavior changed from 21.69%to 19.37%;standing behavior changed from 20.18%to 19.12.%;resting behavior changed from 4.07%to 5.01%;other behavior changed from 2.21%to 1.87%.2 After environmental enrichment, the daily rate of behavior, standing behavior and stereotyped behavior fluctuate greatly.3 In the area of caged Hooded Crane, the utilization rate of Hooded Crane on Area A decreased;the utilization rate of Area B increased;the utilization of Area C decreased most;the utilization rate of Area D increased;and the utilization rate of Area C decreased. For the utilization of the area by caged Hooded Cranes, the feeding behavior mostly had no obvious change in Area A;the proportion of walking behavior increased in Area B;the proportion of standing behavior and preening behavior in Area B and Area D increased;Increased frequency of behavior in area C;increased frequency of resting behavior in area D.4 After the food enrichments, the proportion of time for feeding behavior increased significantly;the proportion of walking behavior also increased;stereotyped behaviors, nursing behaviors, and the proportion of standing behaviors all decreased;rest behaviors and other behaviors did not change significantly.5 The daily rhythm of the behavior of the Hooded Crane behavior increased with the peak value of the feeding behavior at each time period;the daily rhythm of the stereotyped behavior and the nursing behavior fluctuate slightly.6 For the regional profits of the Hooded Crane, the utilization rate of the C area is the largest, and the utilization rate of the area A declines. The utilization rate of other areas has increased. With regard to the selection and use of various regions for various behaviors, there was no significant change in other behaviors except for the increase in utilization of various regions of feeding behavior.7 The higher the temperature, the smaller the proportion of eating behavior and walking behavior of Hooded Crane and the higher the proportion of standing behavior and stereotyped behavior. On sunny days, the feeding behavior and wandering behavior of Hooded Crane were higher than those on rainy days, but the opposite was true on rainy days.
