Map visualization,as a technical method of spatial cognition and expression,is not only a scientific exploration tool,but also a carrier of research results in mining spatial distribution characteristics,studying the characteristics of geography,and revealing the mechanism of geographical process.The objects of map visualization are not only limited to the surface space,but also extend beyond the surface.They are not only confined to the spatial information,but also extend to other non spatial information.Map visualization mainly includes cartographic representation and map interaction(cartographic interaction).As the representative of urban big data,the mobile phone signalling data extract the data of user travel OD,which provides a new data support for the study of urban structure and planning,mining residents' behavior patterns and rules and visual analysis of spatio-temporal patterns.But using traditional graphic visualization method to map large scale OD data,there are many shortcomings,such as complex information,severe information blocking and poor interaction.Users can only understand the situation and understand the details of data.Therefore,the advantages of mass mobile phone signaling data in city computing and data mining,and great prospects in view of the current research based on OD data visualization challenges through technology and application of interactive thematic mapping tools are now well known and the visualization method of OD data summary,exploring the combination of interactive network map technology and mobile phone signaling data,online,dynamic and interactive mode,through the operation of users,data filtering,and multi combination mode dimension information chart display OD data,to provide a basis for follow-up of city user travel activities in-depth study.
