Study On The Efficiency Of Investment In Environmental Pollution Control In Eastern,Central And Western Regions Of China

Forty years of reform and opening up,China's economy has achieved rapid and sustained growth,and the major social contradictions have turned into a contradiction between the people's ever-growing needs for a better life and unbalanced development.The needs of the people have been expanded from the field of material culture to various fields of economy,politics,culture,society and ecology,especially the ecological environment.Saving resources and protecting the environment have become the norm in social and economic life.Investment in environmental pollution control is a material support for saving resources and protecting the environment.This paper uses data envelopment analysis and Malmquist index,and uses data from 30 provinces in China from 2006 to 2015 to evaluate the investment efficiency of environmental pollution control from static and dynamic,and to evaluate the investment efficiency of environmental pollution control in the eastern,central and western regions.The study found that the total investment in environmental pollution control in the eastern,central,and western regions continued to increase,but there was a huge funding gap compared with economic development and pollution problems;the eastern,central and western regions all tended to invest in urban environmental infrastructure construction;the attention to industrial pollution source governance investment was insufficient;rural areas The concern of environmental pollution control is insufficient;the investment efficiency of environmental pollution control in the eastern,central and western regions is relatively low.From a static point of view,the low efficiency of pure technology is the main reason constraining the improvement of investment efficiency in China's environmental pollution control.The average overall efficiency is from low to high in the eastern,central,and western regions.From a dynamic point of view,the efficiency of investment in environmental pollution control is improved.Tfpch is from low to high in the central,western,and eastern regions.Improving the efficiency of investment in environmental pollution control in the eastern,central and western regions requires the concept of green development to lead economic development,adjust investment structure,strengthen investment in rural pollution control,reform the pollution control and supervision system,encourage economic entities to participate in environmental pollution control,promote green technology innovation,and cultivate related technologies Talents,the establishment of corporate-led,government-led,public participation in environmental pollution governance system.
