In the oil industry,as the tension cartridge in the logging instrument work for a period of time,it is prone to malfunctions such as inaccurate or malfunctioning sensors,and some instruments are still in use beyond the validity period.There are issues such as security risks.Failure to calibrate in time will lead to major accidents.In addition,the new and old cables should be tested before they go down to prevent the pulling force from exceeding the limit when the downhole equipment meets the resistance,and to avoid the cable breakage during the logging operation,which results in heavy losses due to the instrument falling into the well.However,logging operators have long been stationed outside for a long time,and if logging instruments or cables are brought back to the headquarters for calibration,they are far away and inconvenient to operate.In view of this situation,this paper designs and develops a tension testing machine control system that is easy to transport and convenient to use.It can be equipped with on-site testing and use in field stations.Based on the field investigation of the tensile testing machine and the analysis of the user's functional requirements,this paper introduces the basic composition and overall structure of the testing machine system,and the working principle of hydraulic power system and the system overall scheme design are introduced respectively,and the hardware design and software development of the control system are completed.Tensile testing machine control system is a closed-loop control system formed by combining the data acquisition card,sensors,hydraulic power system,test platform components and industrial control computer combined with improved PID algorithm.The system can load the test piece slowly according to the preset parameters to complete the pull such as break test and tolerance test and calibration test etc.The upper computer control software of tensile testing machine is developed by Labwindows/CVI platform,which is suitable for Windows standard with data acquisition,data processing,storage and playback and other functions,at the same time,the test results can be printed by report forms.The functional test and performance test of the tension tester control system platform and application software under this scheme were carried out.It was proved that the tension tester control system under this scheme can well meet the needs of the industrial scene through analysis and comparison of the test results.Finally,the paper summarizes the work of this paper and puts forward the new development trend of the future tensile testing machine industry.
