With the acceleration of globalization of the world economy and the process of regional economic integration,the shipping industry has also entered a new stage of development.Due to the unique geographical location conditions and resource advantages,pelagic clustering islands(PCI)have become an important fulcrum and platform for countries to develop marine economy and safeguard their maritime rights.Pelagic clustering islands are rich in renewable energy such as wind power,photovoltaics,wave energy,and marine current energy that can be used for direct power generation.Furthermore,the rapid development of the electric vehicle industry has also led to the revolutionary tide of motorization of marine vehicles.How to make effective use of clean energy in island,and establish an pelagic clustering islands energy supply system which makes pelagic clustering islands micro-grid operate independently and smoothly,is of great significance to promoting the green sustainable development of the pelagic clustering islands economy.Therefore,a new idea is put forward that all conventional ships can be replaced by Electric ship(ES)in the future,and in view of the offshore island micro-grid with high permeability and renewable energy sources,a set of optimization strategies for the location and constant volume of ES charging stations was proposed based on the economics and reliability of power grid operation.The main works and achivements are as follows:First of all,this paper constructs the overall structure of the pelagic clustering island micro-grid in the future under the premise of the growing popularity of new energy power generation.Based on the existing research achievements in the field of electric vehicles and ship dynamics,a mathematical model for battery electric propulsion ships served in Pelagic clustering island was built,and the use of ES to replace conventional diesel-powered ships was proposed to achieve the cleanliness of island transportation.Secondly,in order to determine the locating and sizing of the final building site from the candidate site of the ES charging station,this paper puts forward a construction plan of ES charging station which takes the minimum system loss and the fossil energy consumption as the optimal indicators.By comparing and analyzing the impact of various indicators on the economics of island microgrid operation,a multi-objective planning model for ES charging stations considering the power quality and fossil energy consumption was further proposed.A multi-objective particle swarm optimization(MPOSO)was used to traverse through all the possible plans of ES charging stations,and it can find the corresponding Pareto optimal solution set.Finally,considering the potential energy storage characteristics of ES,a charging station renovation plan for island emergency scenarios is proposed.Retrofit traditional charging pile with bidirectional converter to achieve the ship feeding into the grid.Taking the minimum cost of system investment as the objective function,the economic indicators of the bidirectional converter(BC)and standby diesel generator(SDG)under different configuration schemes were compared and analyzed to verify the economic and reliability of the proposed optimization strategy.
