The corrosion and oxidation of the surface of steel products will seriously affect their quality and performance.However,the traditional de-rusting methods such as sand blasting cause many shortcomings,such as manual workload,dust pollution and environmental pollution.As an important part of laser machining technology,laser cleaning is applied in the field of rust removal.The application of laser de-rusting is more advantageous than the traditional method in flexibility,accuracy and environmental protection.Therefore,it is of great significance to study and develop the theory and application of laser de-rusting in order to improve the efficiency of rust removal,increase the service life of steel products and improve the working environment.This thesis is the technical study on laser cleaning of rust on steel surface,starting from the research,including the mechanism of laser de-rusting,influence of laser parameters on cleaning effect and efficiency and effect on laser de-rusting.As a result,the feasibility of laser de-rusting technology is analyzed,the practical application of laser de-rusting is discussed.The main contents and conclusions are as follows:(1)For different materials and different laser parameters adopted,the cleaning mechanisms are different.The main removal mechanisms for laser de-rusting are laser ablation,plasma shock wave,surface thermal elastic expansion and so on.(2)Thermodynamic analysis of laser de-rusting by ANSYS is proceeded,which has verified that the two mechanisms of laser ablation and thermal expansion of the surface make positive effect on rust removal.(3)The experiment of laser de-rusting is carried out to discuss the influence of laser parameters on the cleaning effect.The cleaning threshold,reasonable cleaning range and damage threshold are found out through the experiment.The surface composition of the samples after laser de-rusting is tested,which proves the feasibility of laser de-rusting and conforms to the national standard of rust removal.
