Geographic Information System(GIS)has been in the sixties of the last century since the advent of the ever-expanding demand for the traction and the development of technology driven by the two leap after.Nowadays,the increasing spatial and temporal resolution,the rapid growth of spatial data scale,and the new universal ubiquitous spatial information service have posed great challenges to the function and performance of traditional geographic information system.Geographic information systems urgently need a new revolution.The latest developments in computing technology provide a viable solution to the challenge of Geographic Information Systems(GIS)in the era of large data.Among them,improving the performance of GIS based on high performance computing architecture is a hot issue in academia and industry.The hardware foundation,the software foundation,the network foundation and the data management,the spatial analysis and the spatial information visualization are very different from the traditional geographic information system.The high-performance GIS software system,which is characterized by high-performance computing architecture,is much larger in scale and complexity than traditional GIS software.Therefore,a good system architecture design is the key to the successful development of high-performance GIS.This paper studies the architecture design of GIS based on high-performance cluster architecture.The main works are as follows:A high-performance GIS data storage management architecture based on cluster is designed,and a large-data SPM organization scheme is proposed.The high-performance GIS resource model,index distribution strategy and query processing framework are designed.A high-performance GIS computing architecture based on cluster is designed,a geo-computing scheduling framework is implemented,the scheduling cost model is given,and the parallel execution mechanism of geography computing workflow is constructed.And a typical case is verified.This paper designs a high-performance geospatial data mapping architecture based on clustering,proposes a geospatial data mapping framework under Web environment,gives technical solutions for server-side and client-side mapping,and discusses the design of high-performance slicing services under high-performance access conditions Program,and the experimental verification.The prototype system is designed and implemented,and the proposed architecture is verified.
