Tourism Geographic Information System Based On ArcGIS Server

The introduction of GIS technology to make tourism information ma nagement into theinformation technology, digital age, a tourism ma nagement and tourism informationintegration and synthesis of a powerful information extraction tools.This article describes the development of geographic information systems three methodsof secondary development platform and the skyline and ArcServer dimensiona l geographicalinformation platform.Overa ll design concept is based on the ArcServer space provided dataprocessing, data editing, spatial analysis and other components, using C# visua l developmenttools for travel information system. System ma inly consists of functiona l modules and travelinformation GIS module, which GIS features include view browsing, vector la yer query,attribute ma nagement, and basic spatial analysis, three-dimensiona l virtual reality. GISfeatures using ArcServer interface technology to achieve, for some simple GIS featuresdirectly call ArcServer tool button to provide implementation, for complex GIS functionssuch as tourism information module ArcServer object by calling the library functions andcontrols combined C# Programming Method.The development of geographic information system developed using object-orientedla nguage, and make full use of the ArcServer provide basic graphics operations, data editing,graphics and other components to build, the law effectively to improve the application ofgeographic information systems development efficiency, and has a good user interface andimproved functiona lity.
