In order to provide scientific basis for the environmental assessment of the gas hydrate mining area and the study on the mechanism of submarine extreme geological phenomena, research institutes such as Guangzhou Marine Geological Survey,Zhejiang University,Ocean University of China,Peking University and Dalian University of Technology have developed in-situ monitoring and detection systems for hydrate mining environments.Based on the practical application requirements, this paper summarizes and analyzes the domestic and overseas technologies, such as hydrate mining environment monitoring technology, submarine topographic deformation monitoring technology, submarine observation network technology and time synchronization technology. The design on a set of in-situ and long-term submarine terrain deformation monitoring system is proposed. The paper will introduce the system and its data synchronous acquisition technology in detail. The main research and work contents include:Firstly, the background and significance of the research on the submarine terrain deformation monitoring system based on MEMS(Micro-Electro-Mechanical System)sensor arrays and its data synchronous acquisition technology are given, and the limitations of existing related technologies are summarized.Secondly, according to the functional requirements of submarine terrain deformation monitoring in natural gas hydrate mining area is given. The scheme of using MEMS attitude sensor to form arrays for in-situ and long-term monitoring is determined. The selection of key components was described in detail, and the related hardware and system structure were designed.Thirdly, the task requirements of data acquisition and storage system are analyzed. The system scheme of two-level data acquisition based on IIC(Inter-Integrated Circuit)bus and CAN(Controller Area Network)bus is proposed. The design of slave data acquisition program,IIC bus receiving program,CAN bus receiving program, data storage system in the system are introduced in detail. The fast acquisition of multi-node and long-distance data is realized.Fourthly, the theory of multi-node data acquisition synchronization is analyzed.According to the difficulty of time synchronization in the deep sea,a relative time synchronization technology suitable for the system is proposed, and related design is carried out to ensure the relative synchronization of the slave stations in the system. Finally, the testing of various parts and the system experiments are introduced, the results confirm that the system can perform data acquisition, storage and display functions accurately, which provides feasibility verification for long-term deployment. The main contents of this paper are summarized, and the current needs of the system are put forward, and the further work is prospected.
