With the depression of global mining market,geological exploration industry is facing severe challenges.Therefore,it is urgent to use project management techniques in the implementation of geological exploration projects,so as to stimulate the work enthusiasm of project team members and maintain the stability of the team.By summarizing the current situation of incentive mechanism at home and abroad and taking the CM geological research institute as an example,this paper finds the existing problems in employee incentive in the research institute,and proposes specific incentive optimization measures.Under the current incentive mechanism of the research institute,existing systems such as project appraisal and reward,advanced evaluation,staff education training and career promotion are reflected,but there are still some unreasonable and defects in many aspects.The results of the questionnaire also show that the problems of the current incentive mechanism lie in three aspects,less opportunities for career advancement and imbalance,unreasonable salary distribution and insufficient humanistic care for field workers.On this basis,combining with the current situation of talents,put forward reasonable and effective talent incentive measures.We should improve the talent promotion mechanism from three aspects: introducing the "double sequence" cadre post management system,comprehensively investigating and selecting reserve cadres and establishing scientific and technological innovation teams.We should improve the fair and reasonable salary system from the three aspects of "double sequence" equal post pay,the use of performance salary leverage and the encouragement of employees to create income.We will implement incentives and care measures for field work from four aspects: strengthening field work training,commending and rewarding field work,improving field work conditions and strengthening field ideological work.Research interviews show that researchers welcome these incentives,and senior leaders believe that most of them are feasible.Through the research on the personnel incentive mechanism of the geological exploration project of CM geological research institute,this paper brings some inspirations and references for the project management of the geological industry.
