Previous studies on mineral exploration in wulanba area, xiwuqi,Inner Mongolia lack comprehensive analysis and research on physicochemical exploration based on detailed geological background, and have not systematically sorted out and grasped the metallogenic rules and target areas in this area.Based on the collection and analysis of previous data, the author conducted field geological exploration and and soil geochemistry, and then researched the geological setting, soil geochemical characteristics of the Wulanba area,in Xiwuqi,Inner Mogolia.Combining with the ore-controlling factors and metallogenic regularities in the study area, possible metallogenic model is established, and the next step prospecting suggestion are put forward. The main results were as following:(1)A large area of the Jurassic Manketou Ebo Formation(J3mk)stratum is exposed in the study area;the strata are generally sloping monoclinic strata in the northwest direction;the intrusive rocks are mainly Permian plagiogranite(P1??),Jurassic biotite Granite(J1??)and Cretaceous K-feldspar granite(K1??).(2)6 geochemical synthesis anomalies such as AP-1,AP-2,AP-3,...AP-6 were screened by 1:10000 geological prospecting. The author described the 6 anomalies, and carried out the anomaly inspection. As a result, ore prospecting may be better in the area of AP-3 anomalie.(3)Through the geological anomalies delineated in Zone III,trenching, drilling,IP gradient array measurement,IPD sounding, rock(mineral)stone physical property measurement, soil comprehensive profile, borehole primary halo profile, and system sampling are performed. There is one industrial ore body(I industrial silver and copper ore body)and two low-grade ore bodies(II and III ore bodies).(4)For the deep verification results of I,II and III ore bodies, combined with the analysis of the IP sounding data, the maximum extension depth of No.I ore body is 115 m,the maximum extension depth of No.II ore body is 32 m,and the maximum extension depth of No.III ore body is 42 m.No ore body(mineralization)information display. The physicochemical probe profile measurement and the measurement of the primary halo profile of the borehole are considered. It is considered that the ore body has no prospecting prospect in the trend and tendency.(5)The ore-forming age of the deposit may be Early Cretaceous, and the ore-forming materials are mainly derived from the mantle. The regional structure and Yanshanian magmatism promoted the migration of minerals.Multiple boiling and fluid mixing of fluids is the primary mechanism by which mineral deposits occur.Different types of ore bodies are formed in different hydrothermal stages.(6)The Cu-Pb-Zn-W-Sn polymetallic deposit in this area is mostly controlled by fracture and has zoning. The ore-bearing rock in the mining area is the volcanic rock of the Upper Jurassic Manketou'ebo Formation.Geochemical anomalies have a good coupling relationship with the distribution of Jurassic biotite granites. The prospecting prospects in Zone III are not large, and it is recommended to carry out drilling engineering verification work for AP-3 comprehensive anomalies in Zone I.
