Study On Measuring Agricultural Production Efficiency In Jiangxi Province

The improvement of the national economy is inseparable from the development of agriculture.Since the first document issued by the government on the issue of“agriculture,rural areas and farmers” issued in 1982,the state has a new step every year on the development of agriculture.As the foundation of the national economy,agriculture has received much attention.Under the guidance of the state,the agricultural modernization process has made great breakthroughs,the adjustment of agricultural production and lifestyle has achieved certain results,and the agricultural economy of all provinces has improved.Jiangxi is a large agricultural province with superior environmental resources and fertile soil and water resources.When the agricultural economy in various regions is booming,it faces a severe test of increasing population and limited land resources.How to improve agricultural production efficiency is the top priority.Through the examination of the existing literature,it is found that the research perspective of agricultural production efficiency is mainly concentrated at the national level.The research on a certain province is rare,or the research on regional agricultural production efficiency is not deep enough,so it is different.It is of theoretical and practical significance to study agricultural production efficiency from the perspective of the region.In the process of researching the agricultural production efficiency in Jiangxi,this paper mainly selects the agricultural development data of the five districts in Jiangxi Province from 2013 to 2017.The descriptive statistics are used to analyze the current situation of agricultural development in Jiangxi Province,and then combine the stage DEA.The model and DEA-Malmquist exponential analysis method analyze the agricultural production efficiency of 11 districts and cities in Jiangxi Province statically and dynamically.Finally,the inhibitory factors of agricultural production efficiency in Jiangxi are found by comparing the results of dynamic and static analysis.The results show that the total factor productivity of agricultural provinces in Jiangxi Province is greater than 1,and the overall development of agricultural economy is on the rise,but the scale efficiency needs to be improved;the difference in agricultural production efficiency between regions is obvious,and the agricultural production in Nanchang is the best,reaching in five years.The efficiency is optimal.Environmental factors,especially urbanization,have the most significant impact on Jiangxi's agricultural production efficiency,and it is most important to promote thelevel of agricultural modernization in Jiangxi Province.At the same time,technological progress is the main driving force for the improvement of agricultural total factor productivity,and the low scientific and technological content of agricultural planting is the most important factor restricting the efficiency of agricultural production in Jiangxi.Actively promote the commercialization of agricultural products and intensify agricultural production.Increase government support and increase production enthusiasm.Strengthen the management of agricultural resources and increase the utilization rate of input resources.Increase the investment and promotion of agricultural science and technology,and promote the modest scale operation of agriculture to promote the improvement of agricultural production efficiency in Jiangxi.
