Landscape Pattern Evolution Of Land Use In Comprehensive Land Improvement

In recent years,rapid development of urbanization and industrialization has had a profound impact on the rural population,economy and patterns.Amid declining rural population and the rural economic depression in some parts of China,the rural hollowing become increasingly frequent.As a waste of land resources,the hollow village harms the economic development and social stability in the countryside.The comprehensive land consolidation came into being with the aims of alleviation of the contradiction of land use,balance of arable land,rural environment improvement,and rural economic prosperity.Ranyi Town in Qionglai city of Sichuan Province,in which the comprehensive land consolidation has been carried out early nationwide,can provide some model reference and experience for other villages.The comprehensive land consolidation will have a bearing on the change of land use,which will inevitably result in the change of regional landscape pattern.Based on remote sensing,GIS technology and field validation,this paper interprets and get the data of the land use variation before the comprehensive land consolidation in 2012 and after this improvement in 2018 in Ranyi Town.The single land use dynamic degree,the land use transfer matrix and the relative change rate of land use is applied in the research of the temporal and spatial characteristics as well as the spatial transference of land use change before and after the comprehensive land consolidation in Ranyi Town.This paper analyzes the change of the landscape pattern of land use before and after the comprehensive land consolidation,selecting four aspects including landscape area,the fragmentation degree,the dominance index as well as the landscape diversity and evenness and thirteen landscape pattern factors by using Fragstats.This paper builds two benefit evaluation systems from the perspectives of farmers'satisfaction and the program respectively;and then evaluates the two systems,using BP Neural Network-Cloud Model for the former one and AHP Fuzzy Comprehensive Evaluation for the later one.The main findings of the present study are as follows:(1)After the comprehensive land consolidation,Ranyi Town experienced significant changes in land use temporally and spatially which varied obviously from regions to regions.The main manifestations are as follows.Among the changes of areas of various culture features,cultivated land has always ranked first with an increase in space of 66.51 hm~2 during the research,accounting for more than 60%of the total both before and after the improvement,which was the main dominant culture feature.The area of construction land decreased sharply from 428.43 hm~2before the land consolidation(2012)to 284 hm~2 after the improvement(2018),with a decrease rate of 33.71%.In contrast,the area of five major culture features including forest land,waters,unused land,road and grassland was relatively small and the changing trends of them was quite different from one another before the land consolidation(2012)and after the improvement(2018).(2)The change pattern and process of the main landscape,landscape fragmentation degree,landscape dominance degree and the evenness degree before and after the comprehensive land consolidation was analyzed and evaluated and the analysis results showed that the overall landscape fragmentation degree and the dispersion degree of each patch of Ranyi Town has decreased;the difference of dominance between landscape patch types was gradually reduced;the distribution of each patch type in Ranyi Town was more and more uniform.As the types and shapes of landscape grew more complex,landscape diversity increased.(3)From the perspective of farmers'satisfaction,the land consolidation in Ranyi Town proved to benefit well;from the perspective of the program,the grade of integrated benefits of the land consolidation was good with a characteristic value of comprehensive benefit of 2.2935.In terms of benefit,economic benefits fared better than ecological benefit and ecological benefits fared better than social benefit,which fared better than landscape benefits.By evaluation,it turns out that there is still more room for promotion for each benefit after the comprehensive land consolidation.Compared with economic benefit,landscape benefit and social benefit enjoy more room for promotion especially.More considerations should be paid to ecological and social factors to ensure all benefits develop in a more comprehensive and unified order.
