With the rapid development of society,oil has become an indispensable resource in people's daily life.While petrochemical products bring convenience to people,they also bring great harm to the marine ecological environment.Recently,it was shown that the research on oil-absorbing materials trends towards the obtainment of environmentally friendly,cheap and high efficiency.Based on the traditional modification of melamine sponge,we have made it an excellent oil-absorbing materials of discarded cigarette filter and grapefruit skin by different graft modification.The specific research contents are as follows:?1?We prepared SiO2/DTMS modified melamine sponge by loading SiO2 and DTMS onto melamine sponge.The melamine sponge was characterized by FT-IR,SEM and WCA.In the single factor experiment,we found that the adsorption amount was the largest when the SiO2 content was 1.5 wt.%and the PVA content was 0.2 wt.%.In the application experiment,the maximum adsorption capacity of the modified materials for vegetable oil,chloroform,benzene and toluene in pure oil is 23.6,18.6,15.1 and 13.1 g/g,while the maximum adsorption capacity in oil-water nixing system is 21.3,16.2,13.7 and 11.9 g/g,After five times oil-water cycle test,it still has excellent hydrophobic capacity.?2?Under the protection of nitrogen,We converted wasted cigar filter into excellent oil-absorbing material by suspension polymerization,using butyl acrylate as monomer,using benzoyl peroxide as initiator and using ethylene glycol dimethacrylate as crosslinking agent.The material was characterized by FTIR,SEM and WCA.The results showed that the hydrophobic coating was successfully adhered to the acetate fiber and has good hydrophobicity.In the single factor experiment,we found that the modified cigarette filter had the largest oil absorption when the amount of polybutyl acrylate was 3 ml.In the application test,the maximum adsorption capacity of the modified materials for vegetable oil,chloroform,benzene and toluene in pure oil is 13.0,10.2,8.5 and 8.1 g/g,while the maximum adsorption capacity in oil-water nixing system is 12.3,9.6,8.1,and 7.7 g/g.In the oil-water separation test,the oil-water separation rate can reach 79%.After five times oil-water cycle test,the adsorption capacity for the four oils can still be 10.9,8.6,7.2 and 6.9 g/g,indicating that the material has excellent cycle performance.?3?A precursor hydrophobic liquid/lipophilic material was prepared by sol-gel deposition method using grapefruit skin as a substrate,using tetraethyl orthosilicate?TEOS?and DTMS to prepare a precursor solution.The material was characterized by FTIR,SEM and WCA.The results showed that the hydrophobic coating successfully adhered to the surface of grapefruit fiber and had outstanding hydrophobicity.The maximum adsorption capacity of modified grapefruit skin for vegetable oil,kerosene,benzene and toluene in pure oil is 13.3,9.6,7.7 and7.5g/g,while the maximum adsorption in oil-water mixing system.is 12.6,9.5,7.5,and 7.3 g/g.The oily water separation experiments showed that the recovery rate of the modified grapefruit skin to the organic solvent was 85%.In this study,the materials we prepared not only effectively achieve the purpose of recycling of waste materials,but also have good degradability as a biomass material.Besides,it has certain theoretical value and application prospects for the treatment of oily wastewater and environmental improvement,and also provides reference for the preparation of other environmentally friendly oil-absorbing materials.
