With the development of information technology,mobile GIS technology,spatial database technology,three-dimensional modeling and visualization technology has been gradually penetrated into the field of investigation,mapping and other fields of academic research and engineering applications.This paper combined mobile GIS,Geological modeling and application of engineering geological investigation to complete field data acquisition,processing and multi-dimentional visualization of geological data model in a geographic information system.It has certain practical value for Engineering geological application.The main contents of this paper include the following aspects:(1)The systerm implement digital field data acquisition,compiling,modification,and deleting for soil layer,stratified sampling,dynamic test,and standard penetration by Mobile GIS technology.Adding all kinds of multimedia datas in data acquisition to improve data reliability and intuitively,such as sample photos,recording description etc.(2)After analysing complex engineering geological data,Constructing multi-resources heterogeneous data exchanging model to make seamless integration on mobile database,desktop relational database,file database and CAD software database.Designing software to process filed data automaticly and output electronic report forms for different use.(3)We combined mobile GeoDatabase and ArcGIS for iOS to establish borehole plan map and model optimization.(4)We use a series of key technologies,such as Jquery library,iOSJavaScriptCore and to visualize borehole histogram map,geologic section map and querying mobel attribute information.(5)This paper use borehole data to construct TIN triangulation network by Delaunay triangulation algorithm,and establish a DEMs model for visualiztion.The 3D stratum model is constructed though computing the intersection of the stratum surface and the boundary line between the layers.We also realize a lot of fuction on mobel,such as zoom,rotation,translation,attribute information acquisition and so on.Through analysising the test results of the system in practical engineering application,the systerm implements a way of the field data acquisition and office paper work,which greatly improves the efficiency of engineering geological survey.The system implements multidimensional visualization of geological data on mobile terminal,which provide decision support and technical service for engineering geological analysis.In this paper,the mobile terminal visualization technology also shows significant research and application value.
