Taxonomy Of The Drassodinae From China (Araneae: Gnaphosidae)

Drassodinae belongs to Arachnida,Araneae,Gnaphosidae.Which is known about 2 genera and 237 species all over the world while is known about Drassodes(19 species)and Sidydrassus(1 species)in China.A total of 31 species of Drassodes(including 10 new species and 2 new recorded species in China)and 2 species of Sidydrassodes(including 1 new recorded species in China)are described in this paper.In this study,the domestic and overseas general situation,emended generic diagnosis,species morphological characteristics,geographical distribution of Drassodinae in China was introduced in detail.The species of Drassodes and Sidydrassus in China were comprehensively sorted out and supplemented.Each known species and new species in this paper are treated as following parts: specimen collection and processing,identification,photographing,measurement,description and preservation;retrieval table for each genus and species;diagnosis characteristic and a list of each genus;detailed description of each species in the genera;examined specimen;documents cited,geographical distribution;attached morphological features.The present study involved 33 species from 2 genera of the Drassodinae in China,include Drassodes 10 new species: Drassodes brevis sp.nov.,D.complanatus sp.nov.,D.cordatus sp.nov.,D.baxoiensis sp.nov.,D.globosus sp.nov.,D.paradaliensis sp.nov.,D.paraglobosus sp.nov.,D.pseudonagqu sp.nov.,D.spinus sp.nov.,D.zogangensis sp.nov.,2 new recorded species in China: Drassodes cupa Tuneva,2004,D.katunensis Marusik,Hippa & Koponen,1996.Sidrassodes 1 new recorded species in China: Sidrassodes rogue Tuneva,2004.So far,41 COI gene sequences were extracted from 20 species of 2 genera of the Drassodinae.We also download 17 sequences of 6 species in GenBank.Base on those sequences,morphological classification was verified according to clustering results by building NJ tree,and existing problems are discussed.
