Characteristics Of Geoheritage And Geotourism Strategy Of Zhangye Geopark

The establishment of Zhangye Geopark is aimed at protecting geoheritage and spreading popular science knowledge to the public.Geoheritage is not only an important basis to transmit geoscience knowledge to the public,but also of great significance to the study of geological history.However,the classification,description and evaluation of important geoheritage in the geopark are still lacking.Therefore,the further study of geoheritage is helpful to enhance the public knowledge of geoscience and the sustainable development of geoparks.Since the application for the global geopark in 2017,Zhangye Geopark has vigorously developed geotourism and actively implemented the infrastructure construction of geotourism.From the perspective of tourists' perception,the author not only studies the overall image of the geopark,but also investigates the satisfaction of geotourism.This plays a guiding role in the image maintenance,publicity and development of geotourism of Zhangye Geopark.This paper mainly adopts field survey and questionnaire.The field investigation is mainly about the geoheritage resources and the current situation of the tourist facilities in the geopark.The geoheritage in Zhangye Geopark could mainly be divided into 7 main categories and 16 categories,with significant values in scientific study,science popularization and aesthetics.The tourist facilities and infrastructure in geopark are relatively perfect,but still in the developing stage.Based on the analysis of the questionnaire survey,SPSS software is mainly used to carry out single factor analysis and multiple linear regression analysis on the questionnaire survey data,and obtain tourists' overall perception of the image of the geopark and their satisfaction with the science popularization.According to the analysis results,combined with the existing geoheritage and the development status of popular science tourism facilities in the geopark,the following development countermeasures are proposed: implement differentiated services for different groups of people;improve the interpretation system;pay attention to comprehensive geopark management;enrich the connotation of geotourism;strengthen the protection of geoheritage;and develop the Internet popular science model.
