Ferromagnetic materials have a wide range of applications in engineering fields due to their hysteresis properties, low loss, low cost, and high reliability.Various motors, transformers and other electromagnetic equipment manufactured using ferromagnetic materials as raw materials are widely used in the power industry, which plays a vital role in promoting the national economy. The accurate measurement and simulation of magnetic properties such as hysteresis and loss of ferromagnetic materials is the key to application in the design and promotion of new electromagnetic equipment. For the measurement method of ferromagnetic material magnetic properties.According to the excitation conditions,it is divided into three categories in terms of dimensions: one-dimensional,two-dimensional,and three-dimensional magnetic property measurement methods. The one-dimensional magnetic property measurement method is based on the excitation conditions in single direction, but the magnetic field properties of most electromagnetic equipment such as motors are rotating magnetic properties. The one-dimensional magnetic property measurement method cannot reflect the two-dimensional magnetic properties of ferromagnetic materials under the rotating magnetic field,so two-dimensional and three-dimensional magnetic property measurement methods can better simulate the magnetic properties of ferromagnetic materials under the influence of rotating magnetic fields in real electromagnetic equipment.Based on the above, this paper designs a two-dimensional rotating magnetic property measurement system for ferromagnetic materials to explore the magnetic properties of ferromagnetic materials under a rotating magnetic field.First, the classification of ferromagnetic materials was summarized, and then different measurement methods were compared. For the two-dimensional magnetic property measurement method used in this paper, the principle of its rotating magnetic property is explained and analyzed, and the research progress of the two-dimensional magnetic property measurement tester is introduced.Secondly, the finite element software was used to simulate the excitation structure of several basic two-dimensional magnetic property measuring testers, and the magnetic flux density and magnetization uniformity on the surface of the sample were compared. After comparison, the two-dimensional magnetic property measurement tester based on square samples was selected, and the magnetic pole and yoke were optimized for themeasurement tester based on the experimental design in this paper.Thirdly, based on the results of simulation optimization, the experimental process of the two-dimensional rotating magnetic property measurement tester for ferromagnetic materials was designed. For the power amplifier unit, the measurement unit, the small signal amplifier unit, the main magnetic circuit unit, etc.were selected and designed according to the needs of the experiment to make it meet the experimental requirements. Finally, this paper applies the virtual instrument technology to the measurement system. The voltage acquisition program and analog voltage output program required for the experiment were designed separately,so that the system has a visual interface. The analysis of the experimental results proves the feasibility of the experiment in this paper.
