Based on the relevant data and data obtained from the general survey of Wuchagou molybdenum polymetallic ore in ALSHAN City,Inner Mongolia Autonomous Region,this paper studies the metallogenic geological background,original basic data,geochemical characteristics,stratigraphic structure,the relationship with the geochemical characteristics of the study area,metallogenic characteristics and potential through field sampling,investigation and indoor sorting and analysis Geochemical characteristics and prospecting direction of gulestolgoi district,Inner Mongolia.Based on the study of metallogenic background,geological survey,geochemical characteristics and prospecting direction of gulestolgoi district,Inner Mongolia,the following knowledge and achievements have been achieved:(1)By comparing the regional abundance of elements,it is found that the background values of Pb,Zn,As,Cu,Au,Mo,W,Sn,Sb,Bi and Hg elements in the study area are higher,the Ag elements are relatively lower,and the Pb,Zn,as,Cu,Mo and W elements have obvious enrichment trend.There are ore deposit conditions related to the activity of medium and low temperature hydrothermal fluid.The probability distribution characteristics of 12 elements in the whole area also reflect that there may be mineralization superposition or multi-stage hydrothermal activity of ore-forming elements in the area.(2)According to the characteristics of element enrichment and differentiation in the data set,Mo,Cu,Pb,Zn,Ag and other copper and tungsten molybdenum elements in the study area are easy to form mineralization enrichment,and the metallogenic conditions are good,while rare earth radioactive elements and rock forming elements are poor.(3)On the basis of single element anomaly analysis,four comprehensive anomalies of multi-element combination are delineated.Combined with the metallogenic potential of geological units,it is considered that the contact zone of the Permian Linxi formation and the intrusive vein intruded in the early Yanshan period in the study area has obvious enrichment of elements,very high mineralization index and great metallogenic prospect.(4)According to the comprehensive analysis,the deposit type in this study area may be the medium and low temperature hydrothermal veinlet disseminated molybdenum and copper polymetallic deposit related to magmatic activity.The favorable location for ore prospecting is near the contact zone between magmatic rock and surrounding rock in the late Yanshan period or in the granitic porphyry in the structural alteration zone.Based on the study of the geochemical characteristics and the prospecting direction of gulestolgoi district,Inner Mongolia,this paper improves the basic geological data of gulestolgoi district,Inner Mongolia,and preliminarily points out the prospecting direction for the later stage of the study area.
