Block J in the Western Depression of the Liaohe Basin is a typical medium-thick,interbedded,edge-to-bottom water, heavy oil reservoir. It has entered the mid-to-late stage of steam stimulation development, and its production effect is getting worse. It is urgent to switch the development mode.Existing structural understanding can no longer meet and guide exploration and development work, and it is necessary to make full use of existing data to carry out detailed structural interpretation and low-level sequence fault research to meet the needs of remaining oil characterization and conversion of development methods. The geological conditions in the study area are complex, the faults are more developed, the strata are broken, the provenance is short, and the sedimentary strata change rapidly in the lateral direction, resulting in large changes in seismic reflection characteristics in the lateral direction, and it is difficult to interpret the structure in detail. The thesis mainly focuses on the application of fine interpretation of three-dimensional seismic data, mainly adopting the method of intergrating the well and seismic data, using the automatic structural tracking of seismic data,multi-attribute volume interpretation,three-dimensional visualization and other fine structural interpretation techniques to achieve level four to five faults. The fine interpretation of low-level sequence faults and low-amplitude structures has finally completed the structural mapping of the Yulou oil layer in Block J in the Western Depression.Using production dynamic data to compare the results of fine structural interpretation, the results confirm that different microstructures have a strong control effect on remaining oil.Research indicates:(1)Block J's Yulou Reservoir can recognize 3 sign layers. The Yulou reservoir can be divided into 2 oil layer groups,12 sandstone groups, and 29 single layers.(2)Block J has 55 faults in the Yulou Reservoir, including 4 faults of class III;27 faults of class IV;and 24 faults of class V.(3)There are 7 types of microstructures in Yulou Reservoir of Block J,of which the two types of micro fault nose structure and micro fault ditch structure are the most developed, indicating that tectonic stress is the main cause of microstructures in this area.(4)The positive micro-structural unit of the Yulou Reservoir in Block J is more beneficial to the enrichment of remaining oil.
