Arc plasma is one of the research hotspots at home and abroad.This paper takes the discharge power and arc starting power of arc plasma as the research object.Difficult and other defects,combined with the application status of new materials and new power electronic devices in switching power supplies in recent years,successfully developed a combinable,DC output power supply system with a total output power of 200 k W.Based on the shortcomings of the existing discharge power supply and the characteristics requirements of the 7-channel arc plasma source on the gas discharge power supply,the design discharge power supply system is composed of 7 independent switching power supply subsystems,and each independent sub power supply unit includes: a switching type main discharge Both the power supply and the high-frequency arc starting power supply and the main circuit of transformation adopt the AC-DC-AC-DC type structure.In this paper,all components of the main circuit of the main discharge power supply are calculated and selected.Secondly,for the negative resistance characteristics of the arc load and the need for good steep drop characteristics of the discharge power supply and the digitalization of the inverter link control,the control system uses the DSP2812 digital processing chip as the core,and the phase shift PWM control principle and generation method,Drive circuit,protection circuit and digital PID to achieve the constant current characteristics of the system were analyzed and designed in detail.Furthermore,the working principle of the high-frequency arc starting power supply,the high-voltage technology involved,and the voltage doubler rectifier unit are analyzed,and the control system is designed in conjunction with the actual working conditions.Finally,simulation and experimental verification studies were carried out on the research and design results,and the prototype was put into practical engineering use.The experimental results and actual use results show that the 7-channel combinable main discharge power supply and arc starting power system researched and designed in this paper can not only operate independently for each sub-power supply,but also can be combined by n(n = 1 ~ 7)The operation has the advantages of convenient arc starting,stable discharge current during discharge,reliable power supply operation,sensitive protection,stable arcplasma obtained by discharge,no jitter and flicker,and long-term uninterrupted operation,which can fully meet the needs of nuclear physics research.It fully proves the feasibility,rationality and operational reliability of the paper's research and design scheme.
