Data sharing is the key issue of the civial information construction.Digital model transformation is one of the most important ways in data sharing,which can solve the problem of integration and integrated application from the same data among different industries,systems and departments.BIM(Building Information Modelling)technology and 3D GIS(Geographic Information System)technology are developing rapidly in recent years and have become the direct application of information technology in the field of construction industry.BIM may simulate and restore building in 3D digital models,having the advantages of rich design details,high precision,rich spatial information and semantic information including both geometric and physical rules.At the same time,GIS can provide a complete and rich geospatial information and simple lightweight 3D surface model,with city data mining,spatial analysis,and topical queries functions.Therefore,BIM and 3D GIS complement each other in scope and accuracy,and the combination of macro and micro is an effective means to express the idea of smart city.Besides,with the rapid pace of urbanization,the urban architectural complex is increasing rapidly,and the threat of natural disasters such as earthquakes and typhoons to cities is also increasing accordingly.In the future,the structural simulation will also gradually develop into the regional urban scale.It is urgent to build the structural computing model from the BIM model and GIS model automatically and rapidly,to avoid the repeated construction,resource waste and other problems in the informatization process.Thence,this paper proposes the method of automatic generation of structural computing model based on BIM and GIS technology,and applies it to the Finite Particle Method(FPM)platform for verification.In the process of development of BIM and GIS technology,BIM has issued IFC(Industry Foundation Classes)standard,and 3D GIS has issued CityGML(City Geography Markup Language)standard,to solve the problem that different data sources cannot be integrated.Hence,this paper takes IFC standard and CityGML standard as the starting point to clarify the technical route of this research from the perspective of informatization,regularization and universality.The main contributions of this dissertation are as follows.1.An automatic generation method of structural calculation model based on IFC standard is proposed.First,introduce the basic framework of the IFC standard and analyze the IfcRoot entity and its sub-entities.Next,three types of IFC parsing methods are summarized,including early binding,late bingding and hybrid binding.This paper uses the early binding parsing toolkit IFC Engine DLL to parse the IFC files,and the structure of IFC document is explained in detail.Finally,combined with C#programming language,the automatic generation program of structural calculation model based on IFC standard is constructed,which solves the problems of extracting structural component information,positioning spatial location,and adding information not in buildings.2.An automatic generation method of regional structure calculation model based on CityGML is proposed.First,the characteristics of CityGML are introduced,in which the Modularisation,Multi-scale Modeling and Application Domain Extension are analyzed in detail.Then the structural characteristics of CityGML document are elaborated,and the advantages and disadvantages of existing XML parsing methods are both summarized.In this,the way of the combination of citygml4j and SAX(Simple API for XML)streaming read is taken to parse the CityGML files.Finally,combined with Java programming language,the automatic generation program of the regional structure calculation model based on CityGML is built on the Eclipse platform,which solves the problems of the construction of the standard CityGML model,the scope cropping,the upgrade and downgrade of the CityGML multi-detail level model.Furthermore,a method for generating structural calculation models is proposed based on multi levels of detail.3.For the FPM platform,the application practice of the automatic generation method of structural calculation model based on BIM and GIS is studied.First,the basic concept of FPM and the overall architecture of the FPM platform are described.Next,The BIM model to FPM model and GIS model to FPM model are completed automatically by the program,and the fusion of BIM and GIS on FPM platform is tried.The good results is obtained and the feasibility of this research is verified.
