The 2?m band laser belongs to the safe band of the human eye and is at the absorption peak of water molecules.It can be transmitted by ordinary quartz fiber,so it is widely used in cutting special materials,photoelectric countermeasures,laser ranging,lidar,medical etc.In this paper,Tm,Ho:Lu VO4/Tm,Ho:Gd VO4 crystals are used as laser gain media.The theory and experimental research of ultra-short pulse solid-state laser technology is carried out,and a new 2?m band laser ultra-short pulse solid-state laser technology is explored.Light source instrument for cutting special materials.Research on Tm,Ho laser spectroscopy technology was carried out.By studying the absorption spectra of Tm,Ho:Lu VO4/Tm,Ho:Gd VO4 crystals,the optimal pumping wavelength of Tm,Ho:Lu VO4/Tm,Ho:Gd VO4 crystals was determined to be about800 nm.By calculating the absorption cross sections of the two laser crystals,the absorption cross sections of Tm,Ho:Lu VO4/Tm,Ho:Gd VO4 laser crystals wereCW Tm,Ho:Lu VO4/Tm,Ho:Gd VO4 laser technology research has been carried out.A Ca F2 flat mirror with a transmission rate of 2%in the 2 micron band was selected as the resonant cavity output mirror to study the output characteristics of Tm,Ho:Lu VO4/Tm,Ho:Gd VO4 lasers.When the pump power of the Tm,Ho:Lu VO4 laser is 14.55W,the maximum output power of the laser is 1.87W,the corresponding output wavelength is 2075nm,and the corresponding light-to-light conversion efficiency is12.85%.When the pump power of the Tm,Ho:Gd VO4 laser is 11W,the maximum output power of the laser is 1.21W,the corresponding output wavelength is 2050nm,and the corresponding light-to-light conversion efficiency is 11.0%.The passive Q-switched Tm,Ho:Lu VO4/Tm,Ho:Gd VO4 laser technology research based on black phosphorus saturated absorber was carried out.The transmittance of the output mirror in the resonant cavity is 2%.The passive Q-switched Tm,Ho:Lu VO4 laser obtains an average output power of 860 m W,the narrowest pulse width is 2.831?s,and the corresponding repetition frequency is 128.4 k Hz.The beam quality factor Mx2 is 1.02,My2 ispassive Q-switched Tm,Ho:Gd VO4 laser obtained an average output power of 370 m W,the narrowest pulse width of 4.48?s,a single pulse energy of 5.15?J,a peak power of 1.15 W,and beam quality factor ofMx2 is 1.08,My2 is 1.02.
