Research On Logistics Efficiency Evaluation Of Anhui Province Based On Three-stage DEA And Malmquist Method

The development of logistics industry requires not only solving the problems of logistics cost and resource integration,but also improving the quality of service,management and operation.Anhui Province is located in the central region,adjacent to the Yangtze River Delta and the eastern coastal areas.It is an important area to receive industrial transfer at home and abroad.The total demand of the logistics industry is large,and there is a particularly high rising space.However,with the rise of the logistics industry in Anhui Province,the contradiction of extensive production mode and single management layout has become more and more prominent,and the low efficiency of logistics has become an urgent problem to be solved.Therefore,how to evaluate the input-output of logistics industry and adjust the problems to improve the efficiency of logistics industry is an important problem to be solved.This paper studies the efficiency of the logistics industry in Anhui Province from the horizontal and vertical perspectives,aiming to put forward policy suggestions to promote the development of the logistics industry in Anhui Province.First of all,using Kendall’s tau＿b nonparametric correlation test to analyze the rationality of the index selection of logistics industry in 16 regions of Anhui Province from 2009 to 2016,so as to make it meet the requirements of DEA model,then using Three-stage DEA method to calculate the logistics efficiency of each region of Anhui Province,in order to fill the deficiencies of the first stage,and calculate the adjusted input index.The results show that the efficiency of logistics industry in Anhui Province is increasing,but there is still a lot of room for progress.The level of comprehensive efficiency,pure technical efficiency and scale efficiency fluctuated greatly before and after the adjustment of input index,which was far lower than the front of production.Secondly,in order to make up for the Three-stage DEA,we can only evaluate the efficiency from a horizontal perspective,so we choose Malmquist index method based on DEA model to evaluate the efficiency from a vertical perspective.By decomposing TFP index into several meaningful indexes,this index can more effectively analyze the dynamic efficiency results and reasons of logistics industry in Anhui Province.It can be seen from the results that the productivity index is affected by the technology progress index,which makes its efficiency value lower,while the technology efficiency change index does not fluctuate too much.Finally,through the analysis of empirical results,this paper believes that in order toimprove the stable and efficient development of logistics efficiency in Anhui Province,each region needs to speed up the construction of logistics infrastructure and provide support policies,so as to create a healthy and excellent market atmosphere for the logistics industry.Optimize the allocation and management of logistics resources,make use of the advantages of favorable geographical location,build a logistics park,and form a logistics industry group.
