With the advent of the fourth industrial revolution,manufacturing has once again become a hotspot for countries in the world to participate in competition.The digital transformation and upgrading of Chinese manufacturing enterprises is extremely urgent.However,it is reported that only 7% of Chinese companies have significant digital transformation effects,and more enterprises are still at a lower level of digitization.Therefore,this paper firstly builds a set of manufacturing enterprise digital maturity evaluation system based on maturity model theory,and uses AHPDEMATEL method to evaluate the digital maturity of Chinese manufacturing enterprises.At the same time,based on the extended product space theory,this paper explores the impact mechanism of digitalization on the ability of enterprise product transformation from the four dimensions of digital strategy,operational technology,cultural organization ability and ecological circle.The study found that the comprehensive maturity score of China's manufacturing enterprises is 2.219.It can be judged that the digital maturity level of China's manufacturing enterprises is “Digital converter”;The SEM path test for the influence mechanism of manufacturing enterprise digitalization and enterprise product transformation capability found that 10 of the 12 hypotheses were established.It can be considered that the digitalization of manufacturing enterprises has a positive impact on the product transformation capability of the enterprise,but at the same time,it is found that the digital strategy has a significant negative impact on the product's product transformation cost control ability.The digital cultural organization ability has no significant impact on the ability of enterprise product transformation cost control.This research fully combines theory and practice,effectively compensates for the lack of theoretical research on the digitalization of manufacturing enterprises,and the disconnection between theory and practice.The research results of the project are worthy of reference by government agencies,manufacturing companies,third-party consulting organizations and related research institutes.
