When performing large-scale or complex calculations on topographic data,the traditional calculation mode is difficult to meet the requirements of the actual application in terms of regional scale and calculation timeliness.Existing processing methods mainly use parallel computing,cloud computing,cloud supercomputing and other computing methods.They can process and analyze data in real time or faster,and have higher computing efficiency,but the deployment of these technologies and systems is relatively complicated and costly expensive.In the network geographic information system environment with conventional hardware conditions,the problems of network transmission and overload of the server in the calculation of terrain data have not been effectively solved,thus making the calculation efficiency of terrain data low.Based on the related concepts of edge computing and cloud computing,this paper studies the problem based on the calculation of terrain tiles and terrain data and proposes a rapid calculation method for terrain analysis based on terrain tiles.This method realizes the layered calculation of terrain data and improves the calculation efficiency of terrain data.The main research content and results of the paper are as follows:(1)A custom terrain tile is constructed for large data volume or complex terrain calculation.This study analyzes the structural characteristics of terrain data,constructs a terrain tile pyramid model,and realizes the unified organization and management of terrain data;studies the existing terrain factor extraction algorithm,and introduces the idea of workflow into the extraction of terrain factors,Based on the pyramid model,the terrain factors of different levels of terrain tiles were extracted;the terrain factors were added to the terrain tiles in the form of extended data,so that the different levels of terrain tiles contained corresponding levels of terrain factors,and they were constructed for terrain analysis Custom terrain tiles.(2)Fast calculation method of terrain analysis.For terrain data visualization,a terrain data scheduling method is proposed,which can realize rapid visualization of terrain data;establish a computing area on a custom terrain tile,introduce the national public service electronic map tile data specification as a constraint,and then in this area On the basis of LOD level division,the internal relationship between ground resolution,LOD level and map scale is established;on the basis of cloud computing,edge computing,and fog computing,a terrain tile calculation mode based on endpoint calculation is proposed.Based on this calculation mode,the terrain data of different LOD levels are calculated,which achieves the purpose of rapid calculation of terrain analysis.(3)System design and accuracy analysis of results.Since this method does not calculate the most primitive terrain data,but the terrain data of different LODs,there will be a problem of accuracy loss.In this paper,a rapid analysis system for terrain data is designed,and related experiments are carried out to verify the accuracy and feasibility of the rapid terrain analysis method based on terrain tiles.
