Analysis On The Change Of Regional Economic Development Efficiency And Its Influencing Factors

Since 2010,China's economy has experienced seven consecutive years of slowdown in growth,and the decline in GDP growth is an important manifestation of China's economy turning to medium-high speed and high-quality growth.The shift of the main contradictions of our society in the new era,“the contradiction between the people's increasing need for a better life and unbalanced and inadequate development”,shows that there is a certain degree of imbalance in certain aspects of development in China,among which the regional development imbalance One of the important performances,the level of economic development efficiency is also very different.Firstly,this paper uses the panel data of 30 provinces in China(except Tibet)from 2001 to 2017(regions of Northeast,North Coast,East Coast,South Coast,Middle Yangtze River,Middle Yellow River,Southwest China,Northwest China 8comprehensive economic zones)based on The input-output theory is used to build a comprehensive evaluation index system.Using DEA's Super-SBM-i-c model to solve the economic development efficiency value of each province,and then divided into time stages(2001-2006,2007-20012,2013-2017)to further look at the changes in the economic development efficiency of China's eight major regions in different time periods,And rank the 8 economic zones according to the measured efficiency results.The ranking results of the 8 major comprehensive economic zones are: Eastern Coast(0.9512)> Northern Coast(0.8876)> Southern Coast(0.8179)> Middle Yellow River(0.7811)> Northeast(0.7352)> Middle Yangtze River(0.6966)> Great Southwest(0.6936)> Great Northwest(0.6274).Secondly,the Malmquist index is used to decompose the efficiency value by year and region(province,city and province),that is,the total factor productivity change is decomposed into technical changes and technical efficiency changes(pure technical efficiency changes and scale efficiency changes),and the economic efficiency can be dynamically seen.Decompose the changing trends,and rank China's eight major regions based on total factor productivity:North Coast(1.013)> Middle Yellow River(1.008)> East Coast(1.006)> South Coast(0.996)> Great Northwest(0.995)>Northeast(0.991)> Middle Yangtze River(0.985)> Great Southwest(0.977).Finally,this paper comprehensively constructs the factor index variable system,uses the Tobit model combined with the static panel(FE and RE)model to analyze the difference of the factors affecting the economic development efficiency of the 8 major regions,and finds the Tobit model empirical results and fit Relatively better.And according to the selected influencing factors: economic disposable level(EDL),government support(GSD),innovation capability(INNO),economic industrial structure(EIS),fixed material capital(FMC),labor and human capital(EDU),foreign dependency(FTD),urbanization process(UP),and marketization level(ML),such as nine indicators have different impacts on the efficiency of the eight economic zones,and proposed corresponding countermeasures.
