Injection-drawing-blowing (injection stretch blow molding for short) moldingmachine of three templates that lower plate, panel and upper plate are the key parts of ablow molding machine clamping mechanism. For mounting and fixing the mold, and thequality of plastic products depend largely on the strength and stiffness of the template,reduced the weight of the template will reduce the cost of enterprises, and improve thequality of the template will enhance the competitiveness of the products, so, thelightweight design for templates is a problem which urgent need to address during themanufacture of the injection stretch blow hollow molding machine.This paper studied the clamping mechanism of the WISB40A injection stretch blowmolding machine, used the finite element method and ANSYS software to analysisclamping mechanism and design optimization of the lower template, etc. The maincontents of this paper are the following:1. Elaborated the paper research background, significance and the predecessors inthe same type of clamping mechanism work, this paper study the origin of the model isalso given, finally proposed the paper’s main research content.2. To contact problem corresponding introduction and the related theory of research,preparing for the back of the job.3. First, row overall mold clamping mechanism for analysis, without affecting thestructural performance of the model under the premise of the parts necessary clampingbodies were trimmed. The clamping mechanism model is established using the APDLlanguage of parameterized, the resulting model is then imported into ANSYS Workbenchto optimization calculation, get the clamping mechanism and its stress distribution ofmain parts.4. According to the optimization of the topology optimization of the templateaccordingly, finally, the analysis summarized the results of optimization, get thecorresponding laws, to prepare for the following the template size optimization.5. Using APDL technology for topology optimization of the proceeds of the newtemplate for parameterized command flow modeling, optimization and iteration. Theunder templates after optimization, not only the reduction in weight, but also stiffnessand strength conditions are meet the requirements of design, achieved the purpose ofreduce the production cost.
