Currently,there are many methods for the detection of ions and molecules,such as chromatographic analysis,capillary electrophoresis and so on.But these methods usually not only rely on elaborate instruments but also are quite expensive and time-consuming.As a result,simple,inexpensive,and convenient techniques are developed for this purpose.Especially fluorescence/UV spectroscopic techniques are in demand and have drawn substantial interests of researchers owing to the features including simplicity,better sensitivity,and much lower cost.Development of fluorescent probe for detection of analytes is one of the research focuses.This dissertation is focused on design and synthesis of highly efficient and multifunctional probes.A series of probes based on BINOL scaffold,(R)-1?(R)-6,are designed and synthesized,and studied their recognition peoperties.The main works are as follows:In chapter one,we introduced a variety of recognition mechanisms of fluorescent probes and the development of BINOL derivatives as probe.In chapter two,the BINOL derivative(R)-1 exhibits excellent fluorescence response for detection of Hcy over other amino acids in EtOH solution.The product(R)-2 can be used to recognize Al3+/Ga3+/In3+ in the same solution.Meanwhile,(R)-2 is also an excellent probe for high selective recognition of Ga3+ in HEPES buffer solution.In chapter three,heterocyclic compounds(R)-4?(R)-6 were designed and synthesized as fluorescent probes.In acetonitrile(R)-4?(R)-6 show specific fluorescence response to Zn2+.But it was disturbed by other cations.So(R)-4-(R)-6 are not good probes for detection of Zn2+.In acetonitrile-HEPES(v/v =7/3,pH = 7.0)solution,(R)-4 shows highly selective fluorescence response for Cu2+ion.Furthermore,after the addition of Hcy/Cys/GSH to the solution,the fluorescence intensity recoved.
