The Research And Application Of Oil Pipeline Leak Detection Technology

The conveyed fluid of oil pipeline are main crude oil,light oil,liquefied petroleum gas,etc,which has the flammable,explosive,corrosion characteristics.So that pipeline safety is very important.At the same time the medium of oid contains toxic medium,once the pipeline leakage is occured,such as leakage of oil and gas will not only pollute the environment and cause economic loss,but also cause serious explosion such as causing casualties,etc.In order to ensure the safe operation of the pipeline,in this paper,the negative pressure wave detection technology for oil pipeline leak detection is proposed,the main research work includes the following several parts:(1)The basic principle of negative pressure wave detecting technology is analyized,the key issues which affects the precision of negative pressure wave location is resurched.Which mainly include the flowed parts: the influence of the temperature distribution along the pipeline,the velocity of negative pressure wave and difftime to location's accuracy.(2)The wavelet analysis method is adopted to eliminate the influence of environmental noise,and achieved good results in practical application process.(3)The pipeline SCADA(supervisory control and data acquisition system)system is introduced,which includes the development,characteristics and the frame structure of the SCADA system.(4)The frame structure of negative pressure wave detection system for leakage of oil pipeline is designed,including sensor,data acquisition system,time calibration system and the network transmission system.(5)Oil pipeline leak monitoring and location system is developed combined with LabVIEW language and SCADA system.The accuracy and reliability of the system is proved through the practical application.
