Research On Synthesis And Properties Of 4-azo Double Reactive Group Dyes

Reactive black dyes are very important part in reactive dyes.The largest scope of commercial navy component of reactive black is C.I.Reactive Black 5.It has a large proportion in Reactive black dyes.But C.I.Reactive Black 5 show the limitation of low Substantivity in the dyeing.It just oppose the development trend of reactive dyes,low-salt dyeing.So study and improve the structure of C.I.Reactive Black 5 are important to promote industrial production.In this paper three kinds of diaminobenzenesulfonanilide intermediates were synthe-sized,they are 3’,4-diaminobenzenesulfonanilide,3’,4-diamino-4’-sulfonicacid benzeneee sulfonanilide,3-amido-N-(3-aminophenyl)benzenesulfonyl ammonia.they were synthesized after acetanilide,chlorosulfonation reaction,sulfoamidation,and hydrolyzed.aniline or m-phenylenediamine-o-sulfonic acid was raw materials.The factors affecting the yield of sulfoamidation were investigated.The optimum reaction condition of 3’,4-diaminoben-zenesulfonanilide was 20℃ feeded and 20℃ reacted,pH8.0-9.0,n(4-acetaminobenzene-sulfonyl chloride):n(m-phenylenediamine)is 1.3:1.0.and the highest yield was 84.2%under this condition.the synthesis process of 3’,4-diamino-4’-sulfonicacid-benzenesulfonanilide is optimized to get the following condition:20℃ feeded and 20℃ reacted,pH8.0-9.0,n(4-acet-aminobenzenesulfonyl chloride):n(m-phenylenediamine-o-sulfonic acid)is 1.3:1.0.and the yield is 76.9%.The structures of the sulfoamidation product was characterized by IR,1H-NMR.The optimum reaction condition of 3-amido-N-(3-aminophenyl)benzenesulfonyl-ammonia was pH5.5-6.0 n(3-acetaminoben zenesulfo vl chloride):n(m-acetaminophenyl-eneamine)is 1.3:1.0.and the highest yield was 86.2%..In this paper,dye I-VI were synthesized,following six intermediates were as a part of the mother body of these dyes.They were 4,4’-diamino-biphenyl-2,2’-disulfonicacid,1,3-bis-(4-amino-phenyl)-urea,4’,4-diaminobenzenesulfonanilide,3’,4-diaminobenzenesulfonanilide,3-amido-N-(3-aminophenyl)benzenesulfonyl ammonia,3’,4-diamino-4’-sulfonicacid ben-zeneesulfonanilide.The structures of the dyes were confirmed by MS.Cotton were dyed with the prepared six dyes,and Ciba LS-G HCdyes,C.I.Reactive Black 5.the application of dyes were tested.we obtained the dye parameters,and their Substantivity,Reactivity,Migration Index,Build up Index,washing fastness and so on,were analyzed.The results showed that the dye IV are outstanding performance in the six dyes.but its Build up Index is not ideal.Therefore,at the base of dye IV,some measures still have to be taken for improving the dyeing performances,then designe a more outstanding performance alternative varieties.
