The anti-pilling acrylic is a kind of modified acrylic fiber. By means of chemical or physical modification,this kind of fiber not only keeps the original features such as the feel and warmth like wool,but also overcome the weakness of acrylic fiber as textile fiber---the pilling resistance. This topic studied this fiber mainly from the two aspects of the thermodynamics and dynamics of the dyeing of anti-pilling acrylic fiber.The adsorption isotherm of cationic dye on the anti-pilling acrylic were got,then the dyeing affinity were calculated.The results were as follows:at 80℃,the dyeing affinity of cationic red X- GRL, cationic yellow X- 5 GL, cationic blue X- BL is 12.2k J.mol-1、19.1 k J.mol-1、17.3 k J.mol-1 respectively, when 90℃,the result is 18.8k J.mol-1、24.1k J.mol-1 、21k J.mol-1,while as the temperature is 100℃,16 k J.mol-1,29.6k J.mol-1,26.4k J.mol-1were the respectively calculation results.The dyeing heat of the cationic red X- GRL, cationic yellow X- 5 GL, cationic blue X – BL is-81.85 k J.mol-1,-175.63 k J.mol-1,-175.10 k J.mol-1;the dyeing entropy t of the cationic red X- GRL, cationic yellow X- 5 GL, cationic blue X – BL is-0.034 k J.mol-1K-1,-0.525 k J.mol-1K-1,-0.455 k J.mol-1K-1。Meanwhile the kinetic parameters after the dyeing rate curves such as the diffusion coefficient,the half dyeing time and the dyeing rate constant were got. By compare and discusse with the Dralon and the ordinary acrylic fiber,dyeing properties of the anti-pilling resistance of acrylic fiber were highlighted. At last,the simple dyeing process of the anti-pilling acrylic fiber were explored.The obtained quantity experimental data were to analysis the dyeing performances of the anti-pilling acrylic fiber,which makes up for the blank to the research of modified acrylic fiber dyeing properties. At the same time,the simple theoretical reference for the actual dyeing process was provided.
