Ink products are rich and varied,but the main role in ink products is connection materials,according to the different types of its solvents,the connection materials can be divided into solvent and water types.People concentrated on products and living conditions with pollution-free.To realize the water-based polymer polymerization in the production process,emulsion polymerization method is adopt,its dispersed phase is water phase,so the viscosity of the whole system is not too high.So the preparation of high-performance water-based polymer emulsion is the key to the realization of water-based ink connection.Alkali soluble resin is an important macromolecule material,its viscosity is not up to the water-based ink using requirement,and acrylate emulsion maneuverability is low cost,so it can composite with alkali soluble resin.So we need to make good use of the both performance.Hard monomer and soft monomer are adopt to synthesis emulsion polymer,and the SMA-1000 resin,BASF JONCRYL678 resin,Soluryl-820 resin,Soluryl-120 resin,Soluryl-90 resin was alkali soluble resin,initiator use ammonium sulfate(APS),the composite emulsion was synthesized by emulsion polymerization process.The amount of alkali soluble resin,alkali soluble resin type,the emulsifier system,amount of the emulsifier,initiator amount,ratio of soft monomer and hard monomer and other conditions are investigated on the stability of the polymerization process and the influence of film performance respectively.Transmission electron microscopy(TEM)observe the state of the emulsion particles.TGA and DSC analysis the thermal stability and the compatibility of films.TEM observation the morphology of particles,and speculate on the film-forming mechanism.The results show that the reaction temperature is 80?,the mechanical rabble speed is 250?350rmp,the reaction time is 5h.the best type of emulsifier is emulsifier OS,the amount of the emulsifier is 2%?2.5%,the amount of alkali soluble resin is 40%,the types of resin is Soluryl-90,the amount of initiator is 0.2%,the initiator type is ammonium sulfate(APS),the stability of the emulsion polymerization system is higher,and the latex film has excellent performance.Thermogravimetric(TGA)analysis showed that:Soluryl-120 resin composite coating system,the thermal stability is good;Differential Scanning Calorimeters(DSC)analysis confirmed that the polymeric emulsifier and acrylic emulsion did not fully achieve thermodynamic compatibility,Under the transmission electron microscopy(TEM)observation,the latex particles present a core-shell structure.The film composited with SMA-1000 resin has good glossiness;the film composited with Soluryl-820 resin has good after tackiness resistance.
